Please join us for a very special event. We are songwriters, poets, and singers — we are black and white — we are old and young, gathering to raise awareness of racial inequity and the serious ways this plays out in the everyday lives of African Americans.
I am thrilled to be included in a holiday double-CD sampler of Boston area musicians. Proceeds will benefit Small Can Be Big, to help families in need. To order, please contact Jon Waterman. $15 each, $25 for two, or $30 for three.
Please join me on Thursday, March 4 at this great venue in Shirley, MA.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME !
Come help me celebrate my birthday at the venerable Bull RunThursday Soundstage 215 Great Rd., Shirley, MA. I would love to see new and ‘used’ friends gather for dinner at this great venue. No presents… just bring your self and ears ready for some great music.
I am splitting the bill with Nate Smith (no relation, other than musical friendship). Nate is a seasoned singer/songwriter with an early Dylan flavor. Together, we make a pair of sixties-style folkies.
Doors open at 6:00 pm. and my 45 minute set starts promptly at 7:00. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. You can contact me to purchase tickets, or if you are willing to pay the service charge, please click to purchase tickets online.
Thanks to so many who purchased my CD, Peace on Peabody Hill, we have met my New Year’s Day goal to raise $1000 to benefit Tunefoolery, “a unique and courageous group of over 50 musicians with psychiatric disabilities who play and perform music as a way towards healing and recovery.” Let’s see how much farther we can go. You can purchase it at my shows, or at my online store. One hundred CDs sold, and still counting. THANK YOU!
