The Kitchen Musician ~ December 2019

Hello friends,

This month I share a 17th century Burgundian Christmas carol. I hope that it will inspire us to think about ourselves in relation to the old Christmas story. “How many oxen and donkeys you know, would say a prayer and close the door?” Step into the kitchen and I will sing it for you with the help of my talented friend, Seth Connelly.

The Kitchen Musician ~ November 2019

Hello friends,

“What would Pete do?” I find myself asking this question with increasing frequency as I read the front page news. Of course, I am referring to Pete Seeger. He was a great inspiration for me. I miss him. This month, I share a song that he taught us and boldly add two verses of my own. I also announce a new forthcoming studio album. I’ll meet you in the kitchen and share the details with you!

The Kitchen Musician ~ June 2019

Hello friends,

In this issue of “The Kitchen Musician” I feature a tribute to my brother-in-law Rob Ayres, whom we lost suddenly and unexpectedly last month. Rob’s death has left a gaping hole in my universe. Among his many interests was music, and so I send him off with song. Come into the kitchen – I’ll share a new song of mine, and one of Rob’s.
